Library
After being inundated with emails and messages of recognition and support (from people I know and don’t know) about the release of my book, there are two key questions that I keep being asked:
“What can I do to help?” and “How can my local library get a copy of your book?”
My book is so much more than just a book about gangs, it’s about “choice and consequences”. By empowering the youth of today with the knowledge and tools to succeed in life we give them a head start in becoming the positive leaders of our society. Coming from a nursing background, I honestly believe that the best cure is prevention!
So the answer to the first question is to please speak to your teachers, local school, book clubs, community groups, law enforcement, your local politician, youth groups, local radio station, etc and let them know because there is only so much I can do.
To answer the next question, libraries are always looking for new books to add to their expanding collection especially books that can help the community at large.
All you need to do is approach your local library and tell them about an excellent book (hint hint) that you would like them to order. This process doesn’t cost you a thing and once they obtain a copy of my book they will contact you so that you can borrow it.
